ACCEPTANCE
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Flight Time Recorder, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Apple's standard App Store license also applies unless a custom license is presented. Mandatory consumer rights prevail over inconsistent terms.
PRODUCT PURPOSE
The primary purpose is to record Start Engine, Take off, Landing, and Stop Engine events, calculate time, maintain a personal logbook, and review records. Maps, destination calculations, ETE, GPS values, METAR, airports, checklists, automatic detection, replay, and instrument displays are supplemental convenience or training references and do not make the product certified avionics, an approved EFB, or a navigation service.
USE IN REAL FLIGHT
Timing and logbook functions may be used in real flight only when lawful and without distracting from safe operation. The pilot in command remains responsible for the aircraft, required records, preparation, current official information, and compliance. Verify all times, automatic events, checklists, and calculated values before retaining them.
SIMULATOR MODE
SimConnect/UDP and all simulator data are exclusively for simulation, training, familiarization, and testing. They must never be used to operate, navigate, or control a real aircraft. Simulator performance does not prove that the app, a procedure, or a user is qualified or safe for real flight.
NO NAVIGATION OR EMERGENCY RELIANCE
Flight Time Recorder is not intended, approved, certified, or suitable as a primary or backup means for navigation, flight planning, IFR, terrain, obstacle or traffic avoidance, emergency operation, aircraft control, or regulatory compliance. It does not replace current official charts, NOTAMs, approved weather briefings, certified avionics, required equipment, ATC instructions, manuals, operator procedures, qualified instruction, or pilot judgment.
ACCURACY AND AVAILABILITY
GPS reception, background execution, battery, network packets, internet access, and external services may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, or unavailable. Route, altitude, speed, heading, distance, ETE, and automatic detection are estimates. Independently verify every value relevant to operation.
MAPS, WEATHER, AND AIRPORTS
Map, METAR, and airport data are visual or training references only and may be incomplete or outdated. Third-party content depends on provider terms, attribution, and availability. iSkyLabs may modify, replace, or disable a source for licensing, technical, legal, or safety reasons.
CHECKLISTS AND AUTOMATIC DETECTION
Generic checklists do not replace an approved checklist, flight manual, operator list, or required procedure. Auto Flight Detect is an aid and may miss, delay, or incorrectly identify an event. Follow the documents applicable to the aircraft and operation and verify the logbook.
LICENSE, OWNERSHIP, AND ACCEPTABLE USE
Subject to these terms and the App Store license, iSkyLabs grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the product on compatible devices. Do not interfere with the product, bypass controls, misrepresent it as certified, use it unlawfully, redistribute proprietary components, or copy or commercialize it without authorization. Flight Time Recorder, its software, design, branding, and original content belong to iSkyLabs or its licensors. Third-party names and content remain their owners' property.
PURCHASES, SUPPORT, AND UPDATES
App Store purchases and refunds follow Apple terms and applicable law. iSkyLabs provides product support at info@iskylabs.ca; Apple has no obligation to maintain or support the app. Features, compatibility, and providers may change, and updates may be required for security, compliance, or operation. Every feature is not guaranteed to remain available on every device or system version.
WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the product is provided as is and as available. iSkyLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential economic losses arising from use, inability to use, or reliance on supplemental data. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Critical decisions remain the responsibility of the pilot in command.
APPLICABLE LAW AND CHANGES
These terms are governed by applicable Quebec and Canadian law without removing mandatory consumer rights or forums available where the user resides. iSkyLabs may update them when the product, providers, or law changes; material changes will receive a new effective date and additional notice when required.
AVIATION DISCLAIMER
Flight Time Recorder is for informational, timing, simulation, training-reference, and personal logging purposes only. It is not intended, approved, certified, or suitable as a primary or backup means of air navigation, flight planning, terrain avoidance, obstacle avoidance, traffic avoidance, instrument flight, emergency operation, or aircraft control. Values displayed by the app may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, expired, or based on non-certified sources. Do not rely on this app as a substitute for current aeronautical charts, official publications, certified avionics, approved navigation equipment, air traffic control instructions, pilot judgment, preflight planning, or applicable aviation regulations. All flight decisions remain the sole responsibility of the pilot in command. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for any loss, damage, incident, accident, injury, regulatory violation, operational decision, navigation error, or other consequence arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app.
COPYRIGHT AND RIGHTS
Flight Time Recorder is developed by iSkyLabs. All rights reserved. The app name, interface, source code, design elements, features, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No part of the app may be copied, redistributed, reverse engineered, modified, or used to create a derivative product without prior written permission from iSkyLabs, except where permitted by law.
